A Good picture of dancer is one of the most important thing if you want to get a job as dancer. This is all about how your dance, and a quick reference could be a good selection of dancing photography taken by the a Professional Photographer. Miami photographer Alex Manfredini will do many different types of dance photography: ballet photoshoots, flamenco dancers, pole dancer photos, break dance pictures, jazz dancers, ballerina photos, belly dancers photos, ... you name it.
All types of dance are welcome and we are looking for further opportunities for you to come and show us other types of movement to be capturerd by our dancer photographer.
Not only for professional performers!. If you dance and you want Hollywood style professional photography of you dancing or dance portraits, our Miami dancing photo studio is the place to be. It does not matter if your dancing photograph is performance or social, professional or just for fun. Come show us how you move and we will take beautiful dancing photographs of you. However, if you are under 18 years old and you want to book an appointment with our dancer photographer, you will need a parent to accompany you to the dancer photo shoot. Even if you are pregnant, or disabled, and you want a dancer photography you are invited to our come to our Miami Photography Studio and dance however you want to. Our Miami Portrait Studio follow the ADA Accessibility Guidelines, so if you might have difficulties accessing the space where we are hosting the dancing photo session, please let us know and we will figure it out.
You will be asked to our arrive to our Kendall photo studio at least fifteen minutes before your dancer photo shoot. Our photography studio is equipped with a bar area with water, and hopefully some other snacks after your dance photo. Our dancing photographer want to avoid any pain during the dance photo shoot, so we have a space to warm up and stretch in before your dance photo session. Once in the dancers photo area, there will be no audience, only our dance photographer with a camera, a dance photo assistant to help with tech and logistics, and possibly our make up artist. You will have about ten minutes to show us how you dance. You are welcome to either perform a prepared piece, or improvise. It would be helpful if you planned on doing whatever you do twice so that our dance photographer can get to know your movements and photograph your dance move a different way on the second pass if necessary.
We are dancing photographers, so you are welcome to bring your own music to dance meanwhile your dancing photograph is taken. We will have a CD/MP3 players available, and if you would like to plug your digital music player, a standard mini-audio connection will be available. If you bring a CD, please make sure that you know which track you want to hear during your dance photo shoot. If bringing an mp3 player, please make sure that it is cued to the right point so that our assistant only has to hit “play.” Of course you do not necessarily need to bring music for your dancing photography if you are comfortable dancing in silence. If you usually dance with a live music accompanist. You can I bring them to the dance photo shoot. A single drum or guitar should be no problem. A large drum kit or a piano might be more problematic, and cannot be accommodated for our dance photo sessions.
Our dancing photographer want to make your experience as comfortable as possible. Please let us know if your dance will affect or be affected by the floor. If you are doing a percussive dance that might damage our cliclorama, please tell us. If you would be injured by doing your dance on a concrete one, please tell us as well. To be safe, you should plan on being able to dance for your dancer photography in a relatively small space.
If your dancing photography requires a costume, our dancing photo studio have available changing facilities. You may wear whatever you would like for your dance photo . If you need to change on site, please come even earlier to allow time for it. If your type of dance photo requires a costume that might have trouble fitting through a doorway however, please let us know. And if your dancing photography requires props like hoops, sticks, drums, you can bring them but please let our dancing photographer knows what you are bringing. Dancing photography with fire cannot happen at our dance photo shoots.
You can see your dancing photographs afterwards online. The entire raw dance photo shoot will be posted online for you to browse through.
If you do not speak English, is not a problem, Our staff are fluent in Spanish, and conversational in Italian and French. Dance and Photography are universal languages, so written and spoken words should not prevent anyone from participating in a dance photo session with our professional photographers. Kendall Portraits loves documenting dancing performances, so you are more than welcome to ask us to come photograph your dance event.
